Very vibrant, lots to see, recommend a trip to Malbork by train, Solidarity museum, 56 uprising museum. Be mindful that taxis at station don't seem to use their meters but state a rather inflated price for a short journey into old town.

Have been to Gdansk many times beautiful city, warm friendly people. The improvement that is going on around the river is bringing both sides together. Also having beach (Sopot) 10 min train journey helps you break city life for a day.

Gdansk is a wonderful city for a festive break. The market was beautiful, lots to see with loads of options for shopping and eating. The Forum shops are nearby with some good choices and a fabulous food hall on the top floor.

We loved walking around the old downtown area. Beautiful buildings, city gates, canals. Lots of restaurants and shops. Old carousel and new ferris wheel. Cruises on the canals.

Gdansk is a gem! The history is incredible and it's amazing how beautiful the old town is, considering how badly damaged it was during the war.

Old city is fantastic, with all the nice buildings and restaurants. Interesting to see the history as well.
"Excellent location where in the old town across from A. Al in the middle of the restaurant zone. Unbelievably friendly and helpful staff. I needed a doctor. They will arrange that fantastic stsy"
"The room here is not huge but comfortable, very aesthetically pleasing and technologically advanced. Lights and AC were controlled by tablet, for instance. Bathroom very beautiful-- rain-shower. The bathroom is made of glass that can be seen through so keep this in mind if you're sharing a room with someone, although they're is a curtain that can be drawn for privacy. But the space works best for those who are intimate with each other. My room also has a beautiful view overlooking the street, so it was entertaining to watch the people below (it never was noisy)."
"Very nice spacious room with comfortable bed, lovely walk-in shower, exceptionally clean
Good selection for breakfast
Staff very efficient and friendly
Great location on main tourist area"
