What The Red Lion serves is simply MASTERCHEF! "

"Beautiful location in the middle of nowhere. Friendly staff. The room was spacious with good quality linen & toiletries, albeit the bathroom needed a little TLC. Loved the sound of the owls at night & the fox’s calling. It was a very welcoming atmosphere & Johnnie is a character! "

"I had no expectation of anything fancy and I was not disappointed. Bunk room cleanish, bathroom clean and good hot shower. Grubby public areas and stairs. The image of the lounge on the websire must have been taken when refurbished in 2015. Clearly no cleaning or tlc lavished since. Rubber croissant for breakfast out of cellophane packet but nice cafetiere coffee. For a night away on my own on business it served a purpose but no more."

"Had a wonderful stay at The Dabbling Duck. Our room was lovely and clean with a great view of the Village Green. The staff, who were extremely busy serving Sunday lunch were very polite and helpful. We had a booking in the restaurant, where the food was amazing, as was the breakfast. Over all, this is a stunning place to stay and chill, absolutely loved it, 10/10."

Loose tap in bathroom and broken toilet roll holder however these were reported and fixed the next day. Some staff lovely and helpful others did not seem to care about customer service "

"We had a lovely stay. The facilities and staff are all brilliant. The pool and lake was a bit too cold for us in October but will be back in the summer. We had lots of little walks, family game time and enjoyed the boat in the lake. Our dog was in heaven swimming every day!"
